Hi Luann — this page is your home base for the project. Here's the plan we landed on, the simple terms, and a tab where you can watch the new site come together. The one thing I need to start is photos — the rest I'll handle and check in as we go.
A custom site on Cloudflare (not Squarespace), built around the three things we talked about: getting the book, inquiring about speaking, and joining your newsletter. It carries over what you love — your colors and Hannah's intro — and it's built to grow as books 2 and 3 arrive from Seedbed.

Hosting, your domain, and a real person on call for updates — the same number you pay Squarespace today, just now it's me.
No lock-in. Pause or stop anytime. You won't be double-billed — you keep Squarespace until the new site is live, then switch over.
The build is underway — you can preview it anytime under the New Site → tab; it'll fill in as I go. I'll only come back to you when I genuinely need something, and I keep that running list on the Plan & To-Dos tab so nothing falls through. First up: photos.

The site you and Hannah built in 2018 has served you well; the right move now is a clean break: a new site on a faster, cheaper platform you actually own, instead of Squarespace, built around the three avenues we talked about — email signup, speaker, book — and ready for books 2 + 3 as Seedbed sends them out.
Keep what works — your color palette and Hannah's intro/history writeup both stay. Nav restructure — Leader/Speaker becomes Speaker/Writer; Book gets its own page; the blog becomes a quarterly newsletter archive. Photo refresh from the church archive plus your personals. Kill the stale stuff — "Brave & Bold," United Methodist quotes, broken podcast links. Book page — Seedbed for hard copies, Amazon for digital. Speaker page — real dates and full Loft sermons. Instagram embed back, done right. Email signup — a new, independent list.
Same monthly either way — just a question of how much you want done. The Rebuild was the recommendation; you chose it.
